This Cookie Policy explains the use of cookies and similar technologies across cvisioner.com, candidate.cvisioner.com and partner.cvisioner.com. It is prepared under our disclosure obligation in article 10 of Law no. 6698 (KVKK).
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files your browser stores on your device when you visit a site. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and pixel tags.
2. The cookies we use
The list below matches the actual behaviour of the code.

Analytics and marketing cookies are on by default: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, the Meta Pixel and Google Ads tags run while the cookie banner is on screen. When you press Decline or turn them off under Preferences, they stop immediately and the cookies in those categories are deleted.
Server-side notice to Meta: when you sign up, start a payment and buy Pro, our server sends Meta a notice: a hash (sha256) of your email address and user ID, your IP address, browser details, ad cookie identifiers and, for payments, the amount. Meta matches these hashes against its own user accounts to measure how many sign-ups and sales our ads bring. If you pressed Decline, this notice is not sent.
Masked session recording (Session Replay) turns on only when you press Accept or save analytics under Preferences.
Error tracking: Sentry error records do not depend on consent (legitimate interest). Masked session recording follows the rule above and never runs on payment pages; all form fields and text are masked.
Company logos: the logos on job cards load directly from logo.dev and Google's favicon server. This means your browser's IP address reaches those providers while the logo loads; no cookie is written.
3. Legal basis
Strictly necessary cookies do not require separate consent because they are essential for the electronic communication to take place or for the service you requested (Turkish Data Protection Authority, Guidelines on Cookie Practices). We run analytics and marketing cookies and the server-side notice to Meta on the basis of our legitimate interest in measuring our service and the results of our ads (KVKK art. 5/2-f); you can stop them at any time with Decline in the banner. For masked session recording the basis is your explicit consent (KVKK art. 5/1).
4. Managing cookies
4.1. On your first visit a cookie banner appears at the bottom. Measurement runs while the banner is on screen and stops if you press Decline. The Preferences link in the banner lets you turn analytics and marketing on or off separately.
4.2. You can change your choice at any time: the Cookie preferences link in the footer (inside Settings in the candidate and employer panels) reopens the banner. When you turn measurement off, the _fbp, _fbc, _ga, _gcl_au and cvis_landing_hook cookies are deleted.
4.3. Your preference is kept in the cvisioner_consent cookie for 180 days; after that the banner appears again and the default in 4.1 applies until you choose again. You can also manage cookies from your browser settings:
4.4. Declining does not stop you from using the site. Blocking strictly necessary cookies in the browser may break sign-in and payment.
4.5. If you pressed Accept or Decline before 28 September 2026, your choice still applies; the default in 4.1 applies only if you never chose.
